Korean Land Reclamation Project

/So Korea decided to take on the largest reclamation project ever conceived. In all the project will require a 45km seawall and land fill an area over 400 square kilometers. Where might that land come from... I thought they were gonna blowup of few mountains to use for the fill but instead they're gonna dredge the ocean and pump the sediment into the fill area.... Good news for the local aquatic ecosystem... meh.. theres plenty of fish habitat in the sea. So somehow I managed to get exclusive access to the work site.. I know a guy, who knew a guy that has a friend whos brother's friend... anyways here are some pics.

Gunsan - Cherry Blossom

/April-May is cherry blossom season here in Korea. Spring is quite beautiful here. Along with the cherry trees, there are a variety of different flowering trees and plants. I snapped these photos around Eunpa Lake where the streets were lined with cherry trees.
