Korea, Andong - Folk Village, Hahoe Village and Mask Dance

/Andong. is located in the oldest and one of the most maintained parts of Korea. Unlike the rest of Korea there are many temples and villiages which were not destroyed by the Japanese/Chinese during their many conquests of the peninsula. Many of the temples date back to Shilla dynasty, over 1000 years ago. Andong itself doesnt have much to see but its a good hub. Andong is however famous for two things: Jjimdak (a huge chicken stew like dish) and Andong Sojo (45%). .. very dangerous stuff.
